Learning Styles
Last week we talked about the different kinds of learning styles we prefer. However, when you tried to assess your learning style online, the internet wasn't working. This time, I'd like you to try again. Use the VARK instrument, a chart, Abiator's or a more complicated in-depth inventory.
In addition, I'd like you to look at a paper and pencil questionnaire to determine if you are a global or analytical learner.
After you have done both, please discuss your style with a partner and determine your similarities and differences and whether you agree or disagree with the findings. Finally, write a reflective paragraph about how this might help you customize your learning strategies so that you learn most effectively and efficiently.
